"Not exporting raw materials, but exporting products to contribute to the economic development of Tanzania." Under the theme of the "African Products Project" launched in 1999, we have been promoting the import of Tanzanian products, including instant coffee, African fabrics, and Tingatinga paintings, and creating local employment. By familiarizing ourselves with the local life and culture behind these products and incorporating them into Japanese daily life for enjoyment, we are contributing to the economic independence of Africa, even from afar.
On May 30 (Friday), Yafidu, an artist from Tanzania, will be visiting and will be present at the gallery.
